The best way I've found to adjust the power rating after a quarterback goes down is to look at the difference between the actual score and estimated line. I have adjusted Chicago down 12 points which makes them about a 6 point favorite. The oddsmakers made them -8 so the Chiefs have some value. 

Houston had a better performance so I dropped them only 4 points, in what would have been a pickem game now favors Atlanta by 4. 

This time of year, I look for some spread range plays with a 20 point difference, there are 5 of them this week. The Chiefs look the most logical, and I might take the Rams+13.5 and the Colts+21. I should have my research done and plays posted by Friday. 

Monday Night FootbalI

This is a tough one to call, my power ratings have been pretty consistant on Monday nights and they favor Jacksonville by 2. The situation is Del Rio is gone, and Norv Turner will be gone after this season. The Chiefs, Giants, and Colts were spread range plays along with the Rams which was the only one not to cover. The Chargers fall under the spread range play tonight. Normally the public would be all over the home team, Jacksonville, but they are siding with the Chargers. The line has moved to 3 and could go higher this afternoon. Team trends favor the Chargers, but the biggest question is how much of a change will there be in Jacksonville tonight. It's hard to bet into the unknown, but just a gut feeling says Jacksonville pulls this one out and who knows, maybe we can get the hook on 3 before game time.
